At MBS we are committed to our team, clients and our community. Our involvement in the community is essential and we pride ourselves in being part of such gifted and talented groups and teams continually displaying ambition and drive. We try to bring positive, measurable change to both the communities in which we operate and our business.
Below is a list of some of our sponsorships and involvement in the surrounding area:
Cook a lunch at St Vincent de Pauls – Cooked community lunch of Cheesy Chicken & Mushroom Pasta, Homemade Spaghetti and Salad. With cake and ice cream for dessert.
St Johns & Fire brigade – gardens and mowing lawns, cleaning windows and polishing trophies.
Special Olympics – helping with a flyer campaign for the NZ Special Olympics with members of the NZ team.
Selwyn Village – Cuppa and cake with the residents and played Bingo.
Rural Support Trust – Waikato (RST) – MBS sponsored a main auction item at their Quiz/Auction fundraiser night – it was tickets x2 to the Black Barn Winery 10CC concert and 2 nights accommodation at the Art Deco Masonic in Napier. We came second in their quiz out of about 40 teams…
RDA-Riding for the Disabled Te Aroha – cleared weeds, cleaned drains, painted over the existing murals and arrange a load of plywood donation for new murals. Trimmed trees and cleaned the roadside signage for their reopening after having to close down due to lack of funding and lack of volunteers.
MBS Advisors Morrinsville-Piako Senior A Cricket Team – won this year’s Waikato Valley Champions Trophy Two Day title
The MBS Advisors Morrinsville Fireworks Extravaganza – MBS main sponsor this year.
